  1. Shame about the critical reception to Hindsight. When I saw the trailer for it last year I was left intrigued but totally forgot about it. I’ll have to track it down to see what the film is like for myself.

    1. I’m not going to expect too much – the reviews definitely sway negative. And Pierce (MKC) wasn’t a fan and he has a taste in film pretty similar to mine. I think it might end up being a case “valid premise but not great execution but with some atmospheric shots”. We’ll see. I’ll give it a try. Can’t make the first film (I have decided to go for 「Cut」at the East End Festival instead), but will try to see the other three. Absolutely definitely Il Mare.

  2. I strongly recommend film-makers who want to have a sense of controlling a colour palette and space. Those films has the strong and unique lighting set throughout the films. I loved it in terms of visual and fun to watch ~

    1. The screen shots I’ve seen definitely suggest a very prominent use of colour by Lee Hyun-seung. I’m not sure which films I will get to see, even less now that it seems that the KCCUK has changed the order of screenings.
